Due to the current COVID situation NOSEFO has introduced mandatory use of face masks and temperature measurement on arrival all our course centers.

Each participant brings his own face mask. Beyond this, general infection rules must be observed.

All courses will be conducted in accordance with current requirements for infection control. See information from FHI, Norwegian Oil and Gas, the Norwegian Maritime Directorate and Nosefo`s own infection rules.

E-learning and distance leraning is recommended on all courses where is possible and can be booke on our website.

Safety and emergency preparedness training is required to work offshore, and can become the door opener you need to start your offshore career.

Those applying for work in cleaning or catering, members of a first aid team on fixed or mobile installations, first responders and MOB-crew on stand-by vessels.

Personnel who will be part of a helideck crew on platforms, rigs, ships and vessels fitted with a helideck.

Our instructors are experienced and highly competent in their fields and we have modern facilities in Bergen, Stavanger and Tau. Our courses are approved by the Norwegian Oil and Gas Association, the Norwegian Maritime Authority and all companies on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS).

Safety refresher with e-learning – a pilot project approved by Norwegian Oil and Gas.

The safety refresher course with e-learning is a 2-day refresher course where the first day is completed via e-learning outside of the training centre, and the final day is taken at the training centre. The refresher course can be taken up to 8 years following the previous course.

Basic lifeboat coxswain training conducted on FF1200, FF48 and GES 40 in accordance with Norwegian Oil and Gas guidelines.

The course is adjusted to the skill level of the participants, and emphasises repetition of practical exercises in the lifeboat. Practical exercises are mostly conducted in a simulator, which allows for safe training in marginal conditions.
